Community Involvement
Calimesa Community Garden
Investment in the community is part of the Pro-Pipe and Supply business model. With three grown children and seven grandchildren, Tim and Susan strongly believe in supporting the community and helping where they see a need. Members in the Yucaipa and Calimesa Chamber of Commerce, Pro-Pipe and Supply recently donated all the necessary irrigation supplies to equip the Calimesa Community Garden.
The McFaydens support the community garden because they believe in giving back. “We are encouraging our employees to support the garden project too. with our volunteers, we want to lease one of the larger plots and donate 100% of the crop yield to local agencies that feed the needy,” says Tim.

Yucaipa First
Pro-Pipe and Supply has made an investment into the Yucaipa First Rewards card program. We believe that being involved with as many programs that keep money within our community will create more jobs for everyone.
Here is a little bit of information on the Yucaipa First Program: For every $100 spent in Yucaipa, $45 stays in the local economy. Keeping dollars in our community creates jobs, helps fund local non-profit organizations, and promotes community development through increased sales tax revenue.
When we shop local, we are contributing to a strong vibrant local economy that in turn enhances our community’s character and appeal. For more information on this great program visit: www.yucaipachamber.org

Yucaipa Family Assistance Program
This year we have reached new levels of giving. Managing to bring in 163 pounds of food, and 36 unwrapped gifts for Yucaipa Family Assistance during our 1st annual holiday food and toy drive. Thank you to all that chose to participate in this great giving event!
On a second note we have adopted a family for christmas again this year. (Also through the Yucaipa Family Assistance program). This year we chose a local family consisting of a single mother with six children. This amazing woman is currently fostering 6 children due to family emergency situations, 4 of whom she has adopted.
One could only imagine a person being so strong to have taken in a total of about 14 children over the years. She is a retired sherif facing many of her own life battles, nevertheless still finding time and spirit to open her heart and home.
Helping her and her family seemed like the only right thing to do after finding out that her kids had already come to terms with no having Christmas this year. Maybe one day her selflessness and passion for giving will come full circle and she will get all the help she needs but doesn’t as for. A valuable lesson and a heart warming story for all of us this season.
