Calimesa Chamber of Commerce: Pro-Pipe & Supply: Getting involved from the ground up
Remember when you could walk into a business and ask a tough question and get an answer rather than a look of bewilderment? Remember when customer service meant a live person you could understand rather then a computer automated voice? Pro-Pipe welcomes contractors, homeowners, do-it-yourselfers, handymen and small business owners looking for a competitively priced supply source that has it all.
With over $1million in inventory, Pro-Pipe and Supply recognized a need in the area for a full-blown plumbing supply house. “You would have to go into Redlands or San Bernardino to pick up what we carry right here,” says Tim McFayden. With a full line of domestically produced stock, counter manager Mark Johann will greet you with a smile and loves to tackle a challenging question. Indoor and outdoor plumbing needs, and an expanding inventory of irrigation products, Pro-Pipe and Supply is the local provider ready to serve you.
Investment in the community is part of the Pro-Pipe and Supply business model. With three grown children and seven grandchildren, Tim and Susan strongly believe in supporting the community and helping where they see a need. Members in the Yucaipa and Calimesa Chamber of Commerce, Pro-Pipe and Supply recently donated all the necessary irrigation supplies to equip the Calimesa Community Garden.
The McFaydens support the community garden because they believe in giving back. “We are encouraging our employees to support the garden project too. with our volunteers, we want to lease one of the larger plots and donate 100% of the crop yield to local agencies that feed the needy,” says Tim.
Some call it paying it forward, others call it meeting needs in a community. What ever your definition, the good folks at Pro-Pipe and Supply are doing business, and business is good. Stop by and meet the friendly staff or call Pro-Pipe and Supply at 794-6500.
